Interview with Opera Company of North Carolina Director Airs Sunday, May 25

WAKE FOREST, N.C. (May 21, 2008)-TheClassicalStation.org announces today that its
weekly program "Preview!" will feature an interview with Maryanne Talese, stage
director of The Opera Company of North Carolina. The interview can be heard during
the station's Sunday, May 25 program that airs from 6-9 p.m.

Talese will discuss the Opera Company's upcoming performance of "Madama Butterfly"
with "Preview!" host Deana Vassar. Performances will be May 30 and June 1 at
Memorial Auditorium in Raleigh, N.C.

"'Madama Butterfly' is opera\'s ultimate tale of passion, sorrow and sacrifice," says
Vassar. "With this staging, the company concludes its journey through Italian opera
history, celebrating a groundbreaking season and the growth of opera in this
region."

"Preview!" is a weekly feature that airs every Sunday evening from 6-9 p.m. ET and
presents the latest in classical recordings and upcoming classical events. WCPE's
